SMART & SAFE SPACES

LED Lighting & Green Energy Solutions

As part of the Smart Safe Spaces initiative, our LED lighting solutions are immediate wins in enhancing public safety and sustainability. These energy-efficient systems can be integrated with Wi-Fi, sensors, and other smart technologies to create well-lit, connected environments that boost visibility, security, and real-time responsiveness. When paired with solar power, battery storage, and other green energy solutions, these lights not only reduce energy costs but also support long-term resilience—freeing up resources for other community priorities.

City-Wide Wi-Fi Network Solutions

At the core of the Smart Safe Spaces initiative, our city-wide Wi-Fi network delivers fast, reliable, and cyber-secure connectivity across public spaces. Designed with advanced encryption and security protocols, the network not only powers smart infrastructure—it also offers the potential for exclusive community access, ensuring residents can connect safely and securely while supporting a more inclusive digital future.

Smart Nodes & LPR Technology

As part of the Smart Safe Spaces initiative, Smart Nodes integrate key technologies—like Wi-Fi, sensors, and License Plate Recognition (LPR)—into a unified, intelligent system. These nodes enable real-time data collection and connectivity, while LPR technology enhances situational awareness by monitoring vehicle activity. Together, they create safer, more responsive public spaces through smart, connected infrastructure.

LATEST PROJECTS

City of Norwalk – Smart & Safe Parks

The City of Norwalk has long championed positive change for its residents, most notably through the launch of City-Wide No-Cost Wi-Fi Zones. These zones span across 12 city owned parks and are designed to improve access and connectivity for community members across the city. Built with strong cybersecurity measures, the network showcases the power of advanced technology and system integration—demonstrating what’s possible when innovation meets community needs facilitated by CIOproUSA.

City of La Puente – Park Solar Canopy

The City of La Puente’s Solar Canopy Project facilitated by CIOproUSA, brings sustainability and comfort together at the heart of the community. Installed at a local park, the canopy provides much-needed shade for visitors, creating a more welcoming and enjoyable space for families and guests. At the same time, it harnesses solar energy to generate clean power for the adjacent community center and park facilities—reducing energy costs and supporting the city’s commitment to a greener, more resilient future.
